The Howard Miller Lawyer II reproduction wall clock features including the time, a barometer, thermometer, hygrometer, and a seconds track. The dial frame is hinged from the top and lefts up to adjust the time or chime functions. The lower front-opening door allows easy access to the lower dial and a battery compartment for the seconds track. Full-length MDF back access panel. The oversized dial is off white with easy to read black numerals. The dial glass is heavily convex to help reduce glare across the oversize dial. The front and sides of the case are finished in Windsor Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers and all moldings and the dial frame are finished in solid cherry.
German Key-wound movement counts the hour and plays the traditional quarter-hour Westminster count on acoustically tunes chime rods struck by mechanical hammers. The clock should be wound once a week. There is also an easy access chime on/off lever on the dial to enable or silence the clock on demand. You may hear the chime from this clock in the video below.
