The Hermle Brayden 23056-T30791 is a German-built, modern table clock with a 14-day, keywound mechanical movement. On the hour the clock will strike once on the polished chrome bell. The minimalist design has a rich Ice Beech finish with chamfer-edged accents exposing the natural wood of this solid Beech case. This finish has bold lines in the grain of the wood that will make this clock stand out in any setting. The framed glass panels on all four sides offer an open view of the stunning clock movement from any direction. The hinged front door opens for winding twice a month and setting the clock. White open dial with Arabic numerals and black tapered modern hands. A pewter-tone sunray accent surrounds the outer dial with a ray at each hour position.
This clock uses the decades-proven Hermle 791 pendulum movement made in Germany. Each face of the chrome movement is highly polished prior to assembly. The speed of the clock is regulated by turning a small nut up or down at the bottom of the pendulum. The 14-day train must be wound up every 2 weeks with a key which is included. Every hour, a simple single strike is sounded on the bell, announcing the passage of one hour.
