Mora Clocks influences the design of this new floor clock. A simple elegance that whispers from the shores of Scandinavia comes to life in this Crackle Sandstone finished clock with gold and silver highlights on selected hardwoods and veneers. A beautifully sculpted crown (removable) sets the stage for aesthetic symmetry with tightly scrolled pillars at the base of the dial, matching scrolled circular pattern around the upper case, and wooden bun feet. The curvaceous styling of the mid case with peek-a-boo window, allows viewing of the pendulum. Both upper and lower doors are detailed with a raised panel and the lower case door opens forward to reveal storage and a removable shelf. The aged dial features Roman numerals with diamond shaped hands behind a convex crystal glass. The quartz movement offers a choice of the Westminster chime or hour only strike and features volume control and a night silence option. The aged dial features Arabic numerals beneath a convex crystal glass. The Quartz movement also features automatic night shut-off option. Removable hand carved crown. Peek-a-boo window allows viewing of the pendulum's motion. Upper and lower doors are detailed with raised paneling. Storage and removable shelf behind lower case door. Quartz, battery operated movement, never needs winding. Bottom panel opens up for storage. Quartz movement plays Westminster Chimes and one additional melody . Chimes sound progressively on the 1/4,1/2,3/4 and full hour (also strikes on the full hour). Automatic night shut-off feature.
