This special 81st Anniversary Edition floor clock features an elegant swan neck pediment includes a turned urn finial, carved rosettes, a decorative shell carving, and bookmatched crotch-figured mahogany overlays. The polished brass dial features a crystal-cut center disk with polished brass corner spandrels, with a lamp behind the dial to highlight the crystal and illuminate the pierced astrological moon dial. The circular spun silver-tone chapter ring features applied brass Arabic numerals. The polished brass lyre pendulum features a crystal-cut center disk which complements the dial. The weight shells are also finished in polished brass. An additional lamp in the base highlights the pendulum and weight shells. Two reeded columns feature significantly turned top and bottom caps that frame the door. A decorative Goddard shell carving accents the front door. The sculpted base features a decorative cutout. Crystal-cut, grooved glass on the lower front door and a glass mirrored back provide additional elegance. and Mirrored back. An heirloom record certificate with tube is included for recording your clocks ownership history for future generations. Finished in Windsor Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers.
