This beautiful floor clock features a delicately arched bonnet pediment, highlighted with a carved crown and an embossed leaf and vine overlay, which reappears on the base and bottom door. Currier & Ives period scenes accent the moon phase of the polished brass dial, which also features significant cast corners, a center disk with a silver chapter ring, and applied brass Arabic numerals. The polished brass pendulum offers a cast center disk, which complements the dial and the brass-finished weight shells. Masterfully turned top and bottom columns frame the upper and lower doors. The multi-tiered base offers an eye-catching contour and softened corners. Beveled glass appears on the lower door and sides. Removable glass panels on the upper sides provide easy access to movement. Finished in Oak Yorkshire on select hardwoods and veneers. Adjustable levelers under all four corners. Automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. Cabinet is illuminated by a light inside the case. Free heirloom plate will be engraved with your family name and a special date. Locking door for added security. Cable-driven, Westminster chime Kieninger movement with automatic nighttime chime shut-off option.
