Handmade Ansonia quality in solid wood cases of Cherry or Oak. Faceted front glass with a mirrored back creates the famous Ansonia look. Beveled glass fronts are hand soldered and crafted without any visible solder joints. Quartz controlled German Chiming movement with dual chimes with both Westminster and Ave Maria 4/4 quarter hour chimes and swinging polished brass pendulum. Programmable Nighttime Shutoff for the chimes. Warm, resonant sound with volume control. Hinged dial swings out allowing full front access to movement controls so the clock does need to be taken off the wall to change batteries. Two "C" cells drive the movement for over a year at a time. Beveled glass in precision hand-fitted and soldered brass fretwork.
