This Sligh Legend was originally purchased in the year 2000 as a Limited Edition quantity of 1000 Units. Crafted in solid cherry and exotic mahogany overlays. This beautiful case is in excellent condition and the movement is clean, serviced and should have a full life. Intricate hand carved egg and dart pediment, mid frame and base molding details. Fluted, hand carved tulip shaped finial seat. Hand rubbed crotch mahogany with satinwood inlay borders located on the pediment, base and sides. 7/8 diameter fluted front columns with intricate hand carved top and bottom post caps.

The face of the entire front door is faced with beautiful, hand-rubbed crotch mahogany. Hinged access doors with crotch mahogany frame and center panels with beveled glass. Lower side panels feature a raised frame that is also faced in crotch mahogany with bevel glass panels. Beveled glass panels in upper and lower front doors. The dial has an oversized Moon dial that is astrologically correct with casted corner spandrals and center overlay that are filled with real silver. Cast, applied numerals on a diamond spun chapter ring. Distinctive banded polished brass weight shells with beaded top and bottom caps. Polished brass pendulum with a center casting filled with silver. The selling price of our lowest price clock with this movement is over $20,000.00 today. This was just marked down from 4860.00.

Tubular Chime Movement featuring 9 solid brass tubes. Westminster, Whittington and St Michaels Quarter hour chimes with a full hour count. There is also an option on the dial for the clock to play hour count only on one tube. Automatic Night-time shutoff lever will silence the clock from 10:00PM - 7:00AM. Four Jewel movement with bronze bushings for long-term durability.
