The corners are antique golden brown with a complementing moon arch. Spade hands are finished in black. The rotating moon disk features artwork by American Hudson River School artist, Tom Cole: “The Hunter's Return – 1845” and “Home in the Woods – 1847.” The brushed nickel grid pendulum includes a wood insert that is finished in Worn Black and coordinate with the brushed nickel weight shells. An interior lamp illuminates the dial for viewing in a darkened room. The pendulum and weights are accentuated with the glow from the lamp. Extra heavy seeded glass is used in the bottom door and sides, while the top door glass is plain. Removable fret-cut top side panels with glass allow for easy access to the movement. The simple yet elegant columns include turned caps that accentuate the door. Wood pegs in the door and sides contribute to the casual, aged feeling of the design. Heirloom Record Certificate with nickel capsule is included for recording your clock’s ownership history for future generations. Finished in Indian Summer on select hardwoods and veneers. Illuminated dial for viewing in a darkened room. Adjustable levelers under each corner provide stability on uneven and carpeted floors. Automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. You will receive a free heirloom plate, engraved with name and date, by returning the enclosed request card to Howard Miller. Locking door for added security. Cable-driven, triple chime Kieninger movement offers automatic nighttime chime shut-off option.
