Howard Miller Clocks has just introduced the new Howard Miller Ironworks 615-074 Quartz Floor Clock. Rustic, Steampunk styling in a radically new design grandfather clock. The large hour glass in the middle of the grandfather clock actually may be turned from the wheel attached to either side.
Rustic , aged rusticated finish looks like old cast iron parts. The dial is done in a dark, sandstone finish with metal numerals and three gears in the center of the dial. The is a functional hourglass which may be rotated in the center of the clock by turning the large, aged steel wheel on the front of the Steampunk Floor Clock.
Quartz driven movement uses batteries which only need to be changed once a year and chimes that are a digital recording of a tubular chime grandfather clock. The chime may also be adjusted in volume, turned off or set to switch off automatically every evening at 10:00 PM and come back on at 7:00 AM.
