Howard Miller Taylor 610-648 Grandfather Clock

The Howard Miller Taylor is an elegant Presidential floor clock featuring a swan neck pediment and exotic crotch mahogany. Alternating holly and ebony inlays border the pediment and the base. One oval vertical inlay is found at the top of the pediment under the finial and two additional, matching are found the the top of the pendulum door and one centered in the base. The elaborate dial features raised Arabic numerals which are cast and hand applied onto the top of the dial. There is also a special moon phase with Presidential Collection hemispheres that is astrologically correct.

• Holly and ebony fan inlays are repeated on the lower door and again centered on the base.
• Highly polished and lacquered pendulum and weight shells
• All of the glass is beveled on separate upper and lower doors.
• Base also features complementing crotch mahogany.
