Pre-owned Sligh Estate 0902-1-CC Grandfather Clock

This Estate clock by Sligh offers real wood detail and joinery not found in most furniture and is in perfect condition. The traditional case is made from cherry wood solids, matched crotch mahogany veneer framed with satinwood veneer with inlaid accents. The focal point in the bonnet presented an oval marquetry decoration using rare woods and carefully laid by craftsman. Beveled glass is found everywhere including the lower door, side panels, hinged side access panel and dial door. The richly etched moon phase dial was graced by serpentine hands with castings applied across the dial. The oversized polished brass lyre pendulum is embossed.

Custom Hermle movement with a German made cable-wound triple-chime movement that offers a night-off option and the choice of Westminster, Whittington or St. Michael's chimes.
