The Howard Miller Diana 611-082 is a formal floor clock with influences of styling from the Mora clock era.
The clock function levers are concealed behind the solid wood dial frame, hinged from the top with for access by swinging upward to change the time or select different chime functions.
The dial features a crystal-cut center disk allows light from inside to glow through the crystal and is framed by a decorative wood ring to match the cabinet.
The large spun brass inner dial is easy to read with its large, satin black Arabic numerals. The dial also incorporates decorative overlays and a complementing detailed removable crown for two different looks. Large, impressive carved leaf design accents are complemented by the heavily carved leaf design in the lower door. The brass and silver grid style pendulum features a crystal-cut center disk to complement the dial and is framed by a brushed brass rim.
An elaborately detailed vine motif frames the pendulum. The face of the dial is illuminated and also provides a warm glow to the interior of the cabinet that highlights the pendulum and weight shells. The curved base features an inset panel with a beautiful shell overlay gracing the cutout. A Howard Miller Heirloom Record document with brass tube is included. Finished in Embassy Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers. Adjustable levelers under each corner provide stability on uneven and carpeted floors.
