The Howard Miller Foreman II 611-063 Concerto Grandfather Clock is part of Howard Miller's "Ambassador Collection". The lightly distressed satin finish in Hampton Cherry features the distinctive columns with large reeds and elaborately carved column caps frame the door. The elegant swan-neck pediment with bookmatched olive ash burl and a turned urn finial, accent a decorative shell overlay, and rosettes. It also has a locking door for added security. The Multi-tiered base features a cut-out with a carved gadroon design molding that wraps around the base. The illuminated dial is for viewing this clock in the darkness. The illuminated, brushed satin brass dial features cast corner and center ornaments and a moon arch with an astrological blue moon phase. Dial includes a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals and the special "Ambassador Collection" inscription located in the hemispheres of the moon phase.
