Wow…What a High Return on Your Investment

I attended a marketing lecture in Raleigh last night by Greg Ng. The program was very informative with many creative insights on personal branding. I learned that Greg was very active in supporting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

I was familiar with this food bank as our church, Triangle Presbyterian in Durham takes up a monthly collection for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Every third Sunday the congregation is prepared to see many small kids in the church volunteer to collect change we call “Pennies for Hunger”. During the service, just after the children’s lesson, the kids will walk around collecting change in these small purple cloth bags.  You can tell they understand that they are making a contribution to help the hungry who are not as fortunate as themselves.  Over the years our church has provided tens of thousands of meals to those in need.

Thanks to Greg’s stimulation, The Clock Depot made another donation to the Food Bank this morning .  Our donation of 120.00 will PROVIDE 600 MEALS to those who are less fortunate.
