The black Roman numerals at the (3, 6, 9, and 12) and bar style hour markers on a white dial really pop. The black tapered hour and minute hands and the silver alarm hand are easy to read. The face is surrounded by a polished silver-tone bezel with a flat glass crystal. The accurate quartz alarm movement includes one "AA" battery.
