The Howard Miller Beckett is a larger 86th Anniversary Edition with special design detail on a handsome cherry case. The solid wood pediment arches upward with a beautiful keystone with a "Prince of Wales" inlay between two book-matched crotch figured mahogany overlays. A special Windsor Cherry real lacquer finish on select solid hardwoods and veneers. The dial features a decorative open center which offers a view of the inner workings of the movement, decorative corner ornaments and a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals. The polished brass-finished pendulum features a decorative center disk which complements the dial and weight shells.

Crystal-cut V-grooved glass in the lower door with beveled glass on the sides. A functional moon arch with an astrologically correct blue moon phase to indicate the 29 1/2 day lunar cycle. The door features book-matched, crotch figured mahogany overlays in the corners. Illuminated dial and glass mirrored back. The locking case offers reeded columns with turned top and bottom caps and a sculpted base. Free Heirloom Record Certificate with brass-finished capsule. Free brass Heirloom Nameplate will be engraved with your name and special date. Four floor levelers levels the cabinet on any surface.

Cable-driven, Westminster chime German Kieninger movement plays 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes accordingly with full chime and strike on the hour. Automatic nighttime chime shut-off lever will silence the chime automatically between 10:00Pm to 7:00AM. All chime off function lever.
