The inside back of the clock is also crafted in two sections of book-matched mahogany. Front and side glass panels allow a view inside the clock from any angle. Traditional grid pendulum with an adjustable polished brass disc. White enamel metal dial with contrasting black Roman numerals and filigree hands set behind a hinged front door.

Solid-brass, German-made Hermle 8-day movement with durable brass bushings for extra durability. Acoustically tuned chime rods have a crisp, bright tone. The German movement plays Quarter Hour(4/4)Westminster melody followed by an hour count. Automatic Night-time chime shutoff will silence the clock between 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Chime On / Off lever.
