| 2. HOW TO SET THE BATTERY Be sure the "C" size battery is in the correct position with the position polarity in the upward position. |
| 3. HOW TO SET THE TIME Turn the hands setting disk (1) counter - clockwise to set the the time. The hands will move clockwise. |

| 6. HOW TO SET THE NIGHT TIME SILENCER
The Night Time Silencer switch has 3 positions. If you wish for the chime to shutoff automatically every night at 11:00 PM and come back on at 5:45 AM, please proceed as follows: a) set your clock to the current correct time if you have not already
done so. The clock will now be silent by shutting off automatically every night at 11:00 PM and come back on at 5:45 AM. The shutoff period cannot be changed. |
| 7. HOW TO HANG THE PENDULUM
a) Move the pendulum hanger to the right to release it. It will "pop" out of the shipping position.
