In 1881 Achilles Ditesheim, an entrepreneur at 19, hired six watchmakers and opened a workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switz-Movado Art of Timeerland.. He named his company, Movado, meaning "always in motion." It became known for design innovation in time technology.
Movado Clocks Hold 101 patents, over 200 international awards, watches in the permanent collections of 20 museums worldwide. This same world renown quality of design and materials was carried forward in the Movado Clock Collection previously available.
