This Presidential Grandfather Clock was built as a Limited Edition in the 90s as one of Howard Miller's flagship clocks and is extremely rare. Case looks great and the movement is excellent+. This clock has been fully cleaned, inspected, serviced and runs as good as any new clock. It has an individually carved, scalloped shell in Solid Mahogany on the pediment is designed similar to a John Goddard original. A smaller carving on the lower door balances the design. The highly polished white dial with an enameled finish offers a second hand movement. The front-opening door offers beveled glass. A polished brass lyre pendulum swings below. Beveled glass throughout is held in place by stained, wood spine. Cable-driven, Triple Chime German built KSU series Kieninger movement plays Westminster, Whittington and St Michaels melodies on acoustically tuned Bronze chime rods that produce a very warm chime tone. Automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. Two year warranty.
