This very large cuckoo clock is a Dold 8-MT-201 and has a beautiful Forest Scene has no wear and is in excellent condition and is only 7 years old. Case is highly detailed with a tree on both sides with Oak leaves. Two birds reside near the bottom of the clock overlooking their nest full of eggs. Music alternates between Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer with dancers on a turntable that also rotate. The carving of the Grouse is very large and detailed. Large, carved circular pendulum. Craved and etched Wooden filled weights. Manual Night-Shutoff. Oversized reeds for the cuckoo call. Hand carved in the Black Forest in Germany.
