To The Clock Depot:
My grandfather clock has not worked for 5 years or so. I have put off taking it to a repair shop but occasionally will try to fix it myself. I look for help on the internet. You have been a godsend. I went to the link you suggested. I learned about beat. I then saw a lever that might affect the beat, adjusted it, and now it works.
