Button Functions

[MODE] Changes the display mode. Display sequence is:

normal display > time set > daily alarm  > birthday greeting  > countdown timer

[SET]  In normal display mode: Switches between °F / C °

[SET] In set mode: Selects the hour, minute, year, month, and date for setting.

[UP]  In normal display mode: Turns snooze function on/off.  In set mode: Increase values.

[DOWN] In normal display mode: Turns music on or off. In set mode: It decrease values.

*In the normal display mode the clock displays the time, month, date, and day of the week and indoor temperature.

Starting

Remove the plastic insulator extending out of the battery cover on the bottom of the clock.

Time Setting

  1. Press the [MODE] button to enter the time set mode. “12Hr” or “24Hr” will flash in the display.

2.The setting sequence is: 12/24 Hour Display > Hour > Minute > Year > Month > Date

  1. Use the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to adjust each item and press the [SET] button to confirm and advance through the setting sequence.
  2. Press [MODE] 4 times to return to the normal display.

 

Daily Alarm Setting

  1. In normal display mode, press the [MODE] button twice or the [ALARM] button once to enter the alarm mode. “ALARM” will appear in the display.
  2. Press [SET] to select the hour and minute. Press the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to adjust.
  3. After setting the alarm time press the [SET] button and use the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to select the alarm melody.
  4. After setting the alarm melody press the [SET] button to turn the alarm on or off.

When the alarm is off 3 dashes appear in the display in place of the alarm time.

  1. Press the [MODE] button 3 times to return to the normal display.
  2. When the alarm is turned on, the “ALARM” will appear in the normal display mode. The alarm will sound at the set time each day for one minute. To silence the alarm before then press any button.

Snooze Function

  1. The alarm must be turned on before the snooze button can be activated, see section on Daily Alarm Setting.
  2. In normal display mode, press the [UP] button to turn the snooze function on or off. When the snooze is on, “SNOOZE” will appear in the display.
  3. When the snooze is activated and the alarm is turned on, the alarm will sound for 1 minute every 3 minutes for 4 times, starting at the set alarm time.
  4. You may press any button to temporarily silence the alarm. “SNOOZE” will flash in the display and the clock will complete the snooze cycle. Pressing the

[MODE] button while the alarm is not sounding will cancel the snooze cycle and silence the alarm.

Birthday Greeting Setting

  1. In normal display mode, press the [MODE] button three times to enter the birthday greeting mode.
  2. Press [SET] to select the hour, minute, year, month and date in sequence. Press the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to adjust.
  3. After setting press [SET] to turn the birthday greeting on or off. When the greeting is off 3 dashes appear in the display in place of the time.
  4. Press the [MODE] button twice to return to the normal display.
  5. The clock will play the Happy Birthday melody for five minutes at the set greeting date and time. To silence the melody before then press any button.

Countdown Timer Setting

  1. In normal display, press the [MODE] button four times to enter the countdown timer function. “TIMER” will be displayed in the window.
  1. Press [SET] to select the hour and minute. Press the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to adjust. , The maximum countdown time is 23 hours and 59 minutes.
  2. After setting, press :3 to turn the countdown timer on or off. When the timer is off, three dashes appear in the display in place of the time.

* When the timer is on  [TIMER]  will flash in the display and the seconds will start counting down.

  1. Press the [MODE] button once to return to the normal display.
  2. When the set time has expired the alarm will sound for one minute. Press any

button to silence the alarm before then.

Music Function

In the normal display mode, press the [DOWN] button to turn the music function on or off.

When the music is ON, the clock will continuously cycle through seven tunes.

Battery Replacement

When the display begins to fade or the alarm melody becomes weak replace the batteries with two fresh AAA batteries according to the diagram in the battery holder. Alkaline batteries are recommended for best performance.
